Be Part of the History…

ASD Lofts on Wycliff

The historic Braniff International Hostess College, located at Wycliff Avenue and the North Dallas Tollway, was built in 1968 as a mid-century modern style training and residential facility for Braniff Airways flight attendants. Designed by architect Neal Lacey, the building became an icon of innovation and elegance, featuring classrooms, residential suites, and the famed sunken “Passion Pit” lounge. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2021, this landmark will be thoughtfully restored and reimagined as the ASD Lofts at Wycliff—a vibrant residential community where its legacy of purpose and possibility continues through providing stable housing and supportive services for those in need.

The upscale ASD Lofts at Wycliff  will create 49 new apartment residences – each one representing safety, stability and the opportunity to thrive, illustrating our commitment to preserving history, responding to urgent, affordable housing needs and building a future where everyone has a place to call home.

Together building communities where dignity, stability, and healing begin with home. 〰️

Home is more than shelter. It is stability. It is healing. It is dignity. It is the foundation that allows individuals and families not only to survive—but to truly thrive.

For nearly four decades, ASD – A Home for Life has been a place of hope and permanence for individuals and families affected by chronic illness and housing insecurity. As the need for safe, sustainable, and service-enriched housing continues to grow, ASD is responding with renewed urgency, vision, and purpose.

Today, more than 400 individuals and families remain on our waiting list, each seeking the stability and security of a place to call home. The need has never been greater.

In response, ASD is taking a bold and transformative step forward through the acquisition of ASD Lofts at Wycliff—an investment that will grow our mission and extend life-changing housing and services to individuals and families across North Texas.
